The Angel Fund at Animal Medical Center was established to help dogs and cats in need. We often receive abandoned and / or sick cats and dogs in need of medical attention. By donating to the Angel Fund you allow our veterinarians the opportunity to offer these pets the state-of-the-art veterinary medicine they deserve and then put them up for adoption. By donating a dollar at your next visit to the animal hospital, or telling us to donate the change, you can help save the life of a cat or dog and help us get that pet adopted.
HOW THE ANGEL FUND WORKS: When you donate to the fund, we ad that amount to the fund. A prime example of how it helps is we had a dog that had an eye plled out of the socket in a fight. The owner could not afford to have the dog treated. Another animal hospital / veterinarian sent her away with her dog (eye hanging out) and she came to us. Using the Angel Funds we covered the cost of surgery, brought the dog back to good health and only charged the client what the fund could not cover. Another example is three puppies were left in our fenced yard at night. In need of ear cleanings, baths, vaccines, and medical attention, the angel fund allowed us to treat the puppies.
